The Bengaluru chapter was launched in December, 2008 and was the second batch of the 10,000 Women programme, organised in association with Goldman Sachs. 10,000 Women is a global initiative funded by Goldman Sachs, which aims to provide 10,000 under served women, predominantly in developing and emerging markets, with a business and management education. The ISB is the academic partner associate to implement this global initiative in India.

Details of October 2010 Batch

Women entrepreneurs from various fields like, Financial services, Handicrafts, IT and web designing, Jewellery, etc were a part of this illustrious Bengaluru third batch.

Details of October 2010 BatchAs a part of their course they also participated in a business plan competition, where nine women entrepreneurs were adjudged as winners in the First Round and three declared as winners in the Final Round. The winners of the First Round were Nivedita Prasad, B Susheela, Kalpana Heblekar, Uma Ranganathan, Mehjabeen Sheikh, Sushma Mathur, Shreyaa Mathur, Neeta Adappa and Krupalatha Martindas.. The winners of the Final Round were Nivedita Prasad, B Susheela, and Kalpana Heblekar



Details of February 2009 Batch

The Bengaluru chapter too, saw women entrepreneurs coming from diverse sectors, from, garment manufacturing, to florists, to dermatology and biotechnology, to facilities and property management amongst many others.  The participants interacted with our world class faculty and benefitted a lot in their businesses. The participants here too, as a part of the certificate programme, participated in a business plan competition. Nine entrepreneurs were declared winners in the first round and four in the final round. The winners of the First Round were, Chenddyna Schae, Meeta Gupta, Madhu Chandrika, Mukta Sachdev, Suma Krishnamurty, Hema Subramanyam, Divya Medar, Rajeshwari Urs, Bhuvaneshwari Kilpady and Neelima Hembram. The winners of the Final Round were, Madhu Chandrika, Mukta Sachdev, Suma Krishnamurty and Chenddyna Schae.

November 2009 Batch


Women entrepreneurs from various fields like, electronic and mechanical products manufacturers, financial sector, eco-friendly products, IT and web designing, jewellery, etc were a part of this illustrious Second batch. Click here to know about their Programme Outline.

As a part of their course they also participated in a business plan competition, where nine women entrepreneurs were adjudged as winners in the First Round and three declared as winners in the Final Round.

The winners of the First Round were, Madhuri Dhannanjaya Upasani, Shylaja Vittala, Leena Munot & Mala S, Jayashree S, Deepali Shitel Gotadke, Venkata Narayana jeyalakshmi, Sara Challa, Jayanti Varma and Shakuntala Maruti Palankar. The winners of the Final Round were, Jayanti Varma, Leena Munot & Mala S and  Jayashree S.
