The notion of “Disruptive Innovation” has been around for a while, but how much does your IT infrastructure, services and business model contribute to truly disruption and sustainable innovation?
These are some of the questions that the 2nd Annual Conclave of the Business Technology Club looks to answer. This conclave will be held at Indian School of Business on October 16, 2010.
The theme of the conclave is “Disruptive Innovation”. With the global economy starting to pick itself up and with companies looking towards growth, the time has come for companies to rethink their innovation strategies in terms of :
-
What are the key technology and business drivers of this innovation?
-
Is it truly disruptive?
-
What are the metrics that can be used to understand this nature of innovation?
-
What do your peer companies think about innovation and how are they approaching the problem?
The Business Technology Conclave provides an excellent platform to network with key decision makers from the industry, discuss their approaches to these problems and understand the business of IT through these varied contexts. The conclave will kick off with a panel discussion on how enterprises are leveraging IT to enable disruptive innovation. This will be followed by a panel discussion on adoption of cloud computing technologies, fueled by the panelists’ views on cutting through the hype surrounding the technology.
