Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson, currently CEO, Citigroup, South Asia, is a 24-year Citi veteran who has spent the majority of his career in emerging markets. Prior to this, he was  President of Citibank ZAO, Citi Country Officer for Russia and Division Head for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Before that, he was Division Head for Turkey and Israel overseeing the institutional clients and consumer banking businesses. From 1997 to 2002, he was based in Hungary where, as Country Corporate Officer, he managed the integration of two acquisitions that expanded the Bank's local consumer and SME distribution network. Robinson joined Citi in 1984 and his first assignment was Pakistan. He has also worked in the US and Hong Kong.
