Han Kim

PhD, State University Of New York At Buffalo; MBA, Cornell University; BS, University Of Rochester. Kim is currently Fred M Taylor Professor of Business Administration, Director, Mitsui Life Financial Research Center and Professor of Finance and International Business, Stephen M Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He has been with the University of Michigan since 1980. He was also Yamaichi Professor of Economics, University of Tokyo during October 1990 to January 1991, and has held visiting faculty positions at the National University of Singapore, University of Chicago, and Purdue University. Kim has published extensively in major journals like the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He was the Associate Editor of the Journal of Finance during 1979-1983 and during 1988-1992. He has also been the Associate Editor of Financial Review since 1982 and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting since 1990.
