CITNE faculty update
- Professor Gireesh Shrimali has moved to ISB from Palo Alto as CITNE Resident Faculty. He joins Professor Nishtha Langer, also resident faculty now, who has moved in from Pittsburg, as our second new tenure-track hire this year.
- Professors Ram Gopal (University of Connecticut) and Giri Tayi (Suny-Albany) will spend the next six months at ISB. They will be involved in research and outreach activities for CITNE.
- Mahesh Ramamani, a Ph.D. student from Michigan State University, is starting his dissertation (on the topic of third party versus captive outsourcing) here at ISB under the supervision of Prof. V. Sambamurthy (Michigan State University and ISB visiting faculty. He is our first IS resident, who will spend the next six months on campus collecting data and developing his research agenda.
- Professors Alok Gupta (University of Minnesota) and Manju Ahuja (University of Louisville) are going to be CITNE visiting scholars for the next two weeks working on joint research with the ISB resident faculty.
- Professors Sambamurthy and Rajiv Banker are already here teaching in the Term 6 and co-chairing (along with Prof. Ramayya Krishnan (Carnegie Mellon University and Prof. Ravi Bapna, CITNE) the ISIS conference, which kicks off on December 21. Details at www.isb.edu/citne/isis2007
