Gireesh Shrimali is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at CITNE, ISB. He holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and a PhD from Stanford University. Prior to this, he received his Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Prof. Gireesh has over eight years of chip designing experience, of which he spent five years at Intel. His research interests lie in the areas of network and Internet economics. He has done research in topics such as, analysis and design of high capacity networks, grid computing and Internet service provider peering.
