Professor S Ramnarayan and Prasad Kaipa have conducted several workshops on Change Management and Leadership for the Centre for Executive Education at ISB during 2010-2011.  Professor Ramnarayan has been associated with 10,000 Women Entrepreneurship Programmes jointly conducted by ISB & Goldman Sachs

Professors S Ramnarayan and E Srinivas offered Leadership Development Programme (LDP) to PGP students (Class of 2011) at ISB. The LDP sought to foster the development of students into future leaders. In line with the PGP learning goals, LDP aimed to enhance preexisting emotional intelligence skills of participants and develop new competencies.

Professors S Ramnarayan offered an elective on Change Management. Research shows that 70% of all change initiatives fail. The aim of this course was to generate an understanding of why it happens and how managers and organisations can manage change effectively.

Professor E Srinivas offered Personal Effectiveness for Leadership as an elective in the final term for PGP students. The course was designed to encourage students to examine some of the fundamental issues relating to their happiness, and personal growth, thereby helping them to make their life as leaders more meaningful and effective.

Professor Rajesh Chakrabarti offered two electives to PGP students (Class of 2011) at ISB, namely: a) International Finance — This course provided an understanding of the international economic and financial environment and its unique challenges that are necessary for successful international portfolio management as well as financial management of a multinational corporation; and b) Indian Financial System — This course provided an understanding of India’s rapidly changing economic and financial environment as well as a grasp on the major challenges, debates and issues that are likely to shape the future of India’s financial sector.

Professor Amit Nandkeolyar offered the course entitled Negotiation Analysis to PGP students. The course highlighted the components of an effective negotiation and taught students to analyse their own behaviour in negotiations.

Professor S Ramnarayan was invited by NHRD for Meet the Mentor Series in Hyderabad in May, 2010. He gave a presentation on “Reinventing the Spirit- Story of Indian Railways.”
