Global OD Summit: GODS 2009

The Global OD Summit (GODS) will be held at the ISB on August 19-22, 2009, in association with IODA (International Organisation Development Association) and AODN (Asia OD Network). The Summit theme for this year is “Fusion of Eastern and Western Principles-Creating Sustainable Development in OD.” GODS 2009 is a unique forum where members of the Asia OD Network and IODA come together for the first time.  IODA’s purpose is dedicated to supporting and strengthening OD principles at the international level through research, academic OD programmes, peer mentoring and coaching, networking and sharing of knowledge, international projects, and cultural interchange.

Launch of Biocon Cell for Innovation Management

The Indian School of Business (ISB), in partnership with Biocon Limited, launched the Biocon Cell for Innovation Management (BCIM) to promote innovation in business. The Cell will be established under the aegis of the Centre for Leadership, Innovation, and Change (CLIC) at the ISB. The primary objective of the BCIM will be to foster innovation and link it to operational excellence. The Cell will also help organisations with issues like the gaps in a company’s ability to innovate, assessing the required understanding to manage and mitigate risks associated with innovation and how to produce high value, high quality, strategic innovation at low cost. Biocon will contribute an initial investment of Rs 1 crore to set up the Cell and will provide further funding later. More...

Launch of SBI Cell for Public Sector Leadership

The Indian School of Business (ISB) in association with The State Bank of India (SBI), signed a MoU to set up a Research Cell on Public Sector Leadership in India at the ISB campus. The SBI Cell for Public Sector Leadership will help understand how leaders in public sector organisations succeed, fail, change, innovate and groom future leaders. The SBI Cell under the aegis of the Centre for Leadership, Innovation and Change (CLIC) at the ISB will study innovation, change management, organisational transformation, leadership comparisons between public and private enterprises, etc.  More...

The First International Conference on Igniting the Genius Within
October 23-26, 2008

The First International Conference on Igniting the Genius Within was held at the ISB from October 23-26, 2008. The first day covered lessons from wisdom traditions, the second day lessons from management traditions and third day scientific traditions. The first session was on leadership, the second on innovation, and the third on change management. The World Café session was held for participants to share the various insights they had gathered during the Conference.
