The DIRI Dissertation Fellowship is at the heart of DIRI's circle of impact. Each year the selected fellows would:
  • Get an opportunity to make an impact studying the world's largest biometric enabled digital identity programme
  • Be associated with an institution which is engaged with stakeholders from the Government, social sector and private sector so as to enable implementation of the research findings
  • Learn from world renowned faculty and interact with an excellent peer group

Ph.D., D.B.A., or other students seeking doctoral degrees from accredited institutions of higher education are eligible to apply for Dissertation Fellowship grant. This fellowship is intended for students who are in the process of formulating their dissertation proposal as well as doctoral candidates with recently approved dissertation proposals.

It is expected that the fellowships would start by May 2018 and the field work would be completed by April 2019. Fellows will receive funds upto a maximum of $18,000.
