About Us

The Emerging Markets Club is focussed on the rapidly changing face of the global economy and the increasing importance of the emerging economies, led by BRIC economies, in global affairs. The Club in association with the Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions (CEMS) seeks to disseminate cutting-edge research, provide useful tools and build capabilities to help prepare future global leaders who can make a difference in emerging economies. With this focus, the Club aims to support ISB’s vision of being a pre-eminent global business school. ‘Emerging markets’ have been broadly defined as all countries of the world which are undergoing economic re-structuring and offer a wealth of business opportunities but involve challenging risks.

Club Vision

The Emerging Markets Club plans to develop future global leaders by:

1. Enhancing awareness and encouraging discussion on issues related to the Economy, Politics, Society and Culture of emerging economies
2. Preparing club members to face the unique challenges and opportunities in emerging markets
3. Building a platform to explore career opportunities in emerging markets
