The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at the ISB helps faculty, research students and staff with data retrieval and analysis for research or curriculum needs. Assistance ranges from providing short term case updates for class to long term case studies. Staff assists in collecting and collating data from diverse sources ranging from historical data to current updates, market data to literature surveys or for any other customised need.
The services include:
- Data gathering, analysis, and management
- Providing access to databases where peer reviewed academic journals such as JSTOR, SSRN, Compustat, among others are accessible in full-text
- Procuring teaching aid software such as CrystalBall, Markstart, SAS and others
- Training for database usage and teaching aid software
- Providing on demand Business Intelligence Analysis
- Literature reviews, providing a list of reference articles, links, etc. along with abstracts
