The competition provided a platform for students to understand the nuances of the investment analysis jobs in Capital markets, across Investment banking, Brokerages, Asset Management or Insurance.
ERRC was thus conceptualized into a 4-member team event, wherein students with prior work experience in Finance grouped together with people from other industry backgrounds to analyse one mid to large size company in a particular sector of their choice. To make the work load well distributed within the team, the team also comprised of one person with experience in the sector in which the research was going to take place.
The finalists of the Competition will be presenting at the Banking and Capital Market conference and the ERR stock pitch finals, will be judged by an eminent panel of senior industry people, from the likes of HSBC, ING and Goldman. Further, the audience for the finals would include other senior members from the industry, viewing/analyzing your performance.
