ISB Leadership Summit (ILS) Organisers: Flagship event of the Graduate Student Board Date: December 6, 2008
Previous year the ISB Leadership Summit (ILS) 2007, the flagship event of the Indian School of Business (ISB), successfully brought together the best learning, and the most innovative minds of accomplished industry leaders, forthright policy makers, and influential academics, from across the country. The Summit raised its bar of discussion, and for the first time included six tracks spanning areas like emerging markets, retail, real estate, etc.
The Professional Clubs at the ISB organised these different tracks, which collectively tried to develop a broader context for their future decisions, and together weave a strong discourse on effective and inclusive business.

Accounting Research Conference Organisers: Professor Sanjay Kallapur Date: December 16-18, 2008
The Indian School of Business (ISB), hosted the first Accounting Research Conference, between December 17 –19, 2007, on the ISB campus. The theme of the Conference was 'Need for Accounting Research in India and Asia.'

Metamorphosis 2008 Organisers: EVC Club Date: December 2008
The Indian School of Business organised an application discovery and business model contest aptly titled Metamorphosis. It was a vibrant platform which brought together grass-root innovators, and B-School students, where the innovators were offered concrete solutions on how to take ahead their innovation towards successful commercial exploitation.
The event was organised by the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVC), and the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED) at the ISB, and was supported and partnered with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, under its Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP).

International Symposium of Information Systems (ISIS) Organisers: Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (CITNE) Date: December 19-20, 2008
The Centre for Information Technology and the Networked Economy (CITNE), and the Business and Technology Club at the Indian School of Business (ISB), hosted the second International Symposium of Information Systems (ISIS 2007), on December 21, 2007.
This Symposium brought together leading academic researchers and industry thought leaders to confer and debate on role of IT in enhancing global competitiveness and economic development, and discuss current unpublished work and research topics that are relevant and rigorous. The high profile conference was sponsored by i-flex Solutions.

Solstice- ISB Alumni Reunion Organisers: Alumni Affairs Council, Graduate Student Board Date: December 19-21, 2008
Keeping up with the tradition of dedicating every Solstice to the batch that completes five years, this year’s Solstice is dedicated to the Class of 2004 and the ISB Community hopes to see this class in big numbers.
This year Solstice is planned for December 19 to 21, 2008. The weekend begins with student interactions and mock interviews held by alums on Friday, December 19, 2008, followed by a Welcome back party at night.
