About Us
We are a group of about 200 students drawn together by a keen interest in the Media and Entertainment Industry. A few of us have worked in the Media Industry before coming to the ISB, while the rest of us are here because we want a deeper understanding of an industry that touches everyone’s life and has tremendous potential and scope for growth. The club’s initiatives are driven by an 8 member core team whose mandate includes, but is not limited to facilitating interactions between top industry leaders and students and enabling those who wish to make a career switch into this industry gain a deeper understanding of the media through workshops and information sessions.
Every year the Club hosts the ISB Media Conclave, a forum for India’s foremost media and entertainment industry leaders to discuss key issues that impact their business. This year the Conclave will be held on August 14, 2009 and we are expecting to play host to a wide range of prominent personalities such as Sanjeev Bikhchandani (founder of Naukri.com), Ambareesh Murty (Country manager, eBay India), Alok Kejriwal (Founder and CEO, Games2Win), AP Parigi (MD, Enil), Bhaskar Das (Executive President, BCCL), Rajesh Sawhney (President, Reliance Entertainment), Shravan Shroff (MD, Fame India), Ravi Kiran (CEO – South Asia, Starcom MediaVest Group) and Puneet Kinra (CEO, Balaji Telefilms).
