Private equity investment in India has greatly evolved in the last five years and is likely to play a significant role in nurturing companies and enhancing value for stakeholders. In line with the ISB’s vision of being at the forefront of the ever-evolving business landscape, the Finance Club hosted the PE Conference - “Private Equity: Pioneering Practices, Partnering Businesses”.

This Conference brought together private equity professionals, industry leaders, students, alumni and faculty to discuss recent trends and emerging issues in the private equity industry. The Conference provided a platform to discuss the opportunities and the challenges for private equity investments in India. Further, it acted as a forum for private equity professionals to interact with preeminent business leaders and India’s brightest human capital present here at the ISB. 

The event was designed to promote dynamic interaction between the participants and showcase the nuances of private equity investment in India. Two panel discussions were held:

• Private Equity: Adding value to India Inc's business practices
