ISB Mohali Campus FAQ
1. When will the Mohali Campus start taking in students? The Mohali campus will be operational in April 2012. The class of 2013 will be admitted in April 2012.
2. What is the student intake for Mohali? The class of 2013 will have 770 students spread across Hyderabad and Mohali. The Mohali campus will accommodate 210 students.
3. What will be the admission process for Mohali? There is no separate admission process for Mohali. There will be a single admission process for ISB’s PGP.
4. Will I have an option to choose a campus? You will have an option to indicate your preference for Hyderabad or Mohali campus in the application. While the school will keep your preference in consideration, the final decision on allotment of campus will be taken by the Admission Committee.
5. Will I be at a disadvantage during the Admissions process if I choose a particular campus over the other? The entire selection process is independent of your choice of location. The campus allotment decision will be taken only after the Admission Committee has prepared the final list of admitted students. So effectively, your campus preference indication will have no impact on your selection to the ISB.
6. Will the physical infrastructure and other learning facilities at the Mohali campus be at par with the Hyderabad campus? The ISB campus at Mohali will be equipped with state-of-the-art learning facilities – lecture theatres, a 500-seater auditorium, student and faculty housing, and a host of recreational facilities which will be on par with the best in the world.
7. Is there an option for a student to change campus between terms? In others words, is a campus exchange programme available between the two campuses? Yes. There will be a campus exchange programme between Term 3 and Term 4 and would be on a 1:1 basis. Students will also get an opportunity to change their campus based on the electives that they choose.
8. Will the curriculum in Mohali be different from the one in Hyderabad? Both campuses will have the same ISB curriculum and will run in parallel with each other. There will be no difference in the curriculum, apart from the choice of electives.
9. What are the electives that will be offered in Mohali? Mohali will offer electives in Marketing, Finance, and Strategy and Leadership. Apart from this, Mohali will also offer electives in Manufacturing and Healthcare for the class of 2013.
10. Will the students at both campuses have the same faculty? The faculty at the ISB is handpicked by the Area Leaders (Head of each concentration) from across the world. This select faculty pool will teach across both the campuses.
