Reasons for selecting the ISB
I wanted to do a management programme with a global outlook and that too right here in India, which is the market for the future. Further I have worked in the media sector till now and the ISB is the perfect platform to equip me with the skills to make a career transition.

Your first impressions of the ISB
The initial experience has been truly awesome. The courses are taught by professors from top global business schools such as Wharton and Kellogg. Further the case and study group based methodology followed at the ISB allows one to closely interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, wherein you can witness the richness in skills and unique perspective which each individual brings.

Some things a prospective student should know about the ISB
The ISB is not only about academic learning. There is immense scope to learn and grow across areas. It encourages new ideas and supports initiative, a case in point being the ISB Radio which was the brainchild of the students at the School.

On the resources available to students at the ISB
The campus has world class facilities. The library for instance allows one to not only access an array of books but also leading international journals, guides, publications, and databases. The recreational amenities are a treat with facilities for swimming, tennis, basketball, squash, volleyball, badminton, snooker, table tennis, among other activities. The student’s living facilities are also very well equipped and maintained by trained staff who are available round the clock.

How your peer group contributes to your learning experience at the ISB
Interacting with the peer group forms an intrinsic component of the overall learning experience here. Students come with rich experience from across a diverse set of professions, sectors, and cultures. Interacting with them provides insight into many new areas, thereby allowing me to expand my knowledge horizon and make more informed decisions on the professional front.
