The ISB is a world-class global institution that attracts the brightest of students. In tune with its lineage recruiters have high expectations from the ISB graduates. The ISB has stood up to the expectations -- the first batch of the ISB has had excellent placements, leveraging the ISB to the top of recruiters destinations.
The Class of 2002, the first batch of the ISB graduates received a tremendous welcome from the corporate world. 193 offers of employment were received; of them 28 were for overseas positions. This accentuates the fact that the ISB is already recognised as a top-notch global business school by the corporate community.
The average Indian Rupee CTC was Rs. 8.5 lakh per annum and the average US Dollar CTC was $ 68,000 USD per annum-An exceptional performance considering that was the founding batch. The highest Indian offer was Rs. 28 lakhs, and the highest overseas offer was $220,000. The students were placed in diverse industries such as IT, Manufacturing, Pharma Consulting and FMCG.Many of our graduates turned entrepreneurs and started their own ventures or took control of their family businesses.
In its founding year, the ISB managed to attract a number of high-quality recruiters. Organisations from diverse industries offered the class of 2002 leadership positions across middle and higher-level management cadre.
