Planning an Entrepreneurial Venture
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) curriculum at the Indian School of Business (ISB) offers various electives to students. Students choose electives keeping in mind their career aspirations. The Planning an Entrepreneurial Venture (PaEV) elective is very popular among students, as it offers them guidance on how they can set up their own entrepreneurial ventures. Through this elective, students get an exciting introduction to the process and practice of entrepreneurship and new-venture creation.
The PaEV elective is favoured by students for the following reasons:
- Helps them identify an entrepreneurial opportunity and prepare a business plan.
- Familiarises them with the process and practice of entrepreneurship and new-venture creation.
- Equips them with conceptual frameworks for evaluating techno-commercial attractiveness for investment and launching a new venture.
- Helps them understand and apply the techniques and processes used to prepare realistic business plans.
