An interesting trend noted this year was that Indian companies offered international positions to the ISB students. Companies like BirlaSoft, ITC Infotech, Satyam Computers, Mindtree Consulting, RPG, among others, offered international positions to the ISB students in countries such as UK, Australia, USA, Singapore, etc were among the recruiters. The fascinating thing this summer was the Indian companies offered placements abroad. Ninety seven percent of the placements were lateral with many ISB students receiving several senior management positions in blue chip companies. The largest recruiter was the consulting sector followed by Information Technology (IT) and Financial Services.
