Reasons for selecting ISB Having an overall work experience of 6 years and 8 months, ISB with its one year programme modeled along international standards proved to be the perfect school for me to gain knowledge and expertise in my areas of interest namely, Marketing and Strategy.
On ISB’s learning model and your peer groups The Case Analysis method of learning (as practiced by B-schools like Wharton, Harvard and Kellogg) sets the platform for interactive knowledge sharing amongst study groups that have been strategically created. I say “strategically” because, each group consists of 5-6 individuals from different backgrounds who, when put together, make for a team rich in skills and experience. This method of learning is definitely nouvelle and has a better impact.
On the faculty at ISB The courses taught at ISB have faculty from some of the top-notch B-Schools around the world. The faculty coupled with state-of-the-art classrooms and other infrastructure creates an environment that is conducive to the breeding of prospective managers.Faculty not only bring with them immense knowledge, but also a global perspective to business issues from the schools that they come from.
On the infrastructure and other resources at ISB The campus with its sprawling landscape boasts of features like a huge library, the Learning Resource Centre, (LRC), a well-equipped gymnasium, cozy air-conditioned residences and good dining facilities. ISB surely believes in making its students’ life as comfortable and hassle-free as possible so that we are able to dedicate our energies more towards studies and co-curricular activities.
On your learning experiences with the Student Clubs I firmly believe that ISB’s drive for diversity is manifested in the varied StudentClubs that exist on campus. While there are Professional Clubs for Marketing and Consulting (and others) in place, there are also clubs like the Music, Quiz and Sports Clubs (amongst others) that promote extra-curricular development. As a member of the Media and Marketing Clubs, I can definitely vouch for the fact that Clubs contribute immensely to the knowledge that one takes away from ISB.
