Learning Resource Centre
Learning Resource Centre (LRC), home of the library services, is the knowledge hub of all academic activities at the ISB. Extensive use of Information Technology provides access to information anytime, from anywhere. The LRC has a remarkable contribution in making the School a premier research centre for the international business management community.
The LRC proactively acquires and organises information resources, in the areas of management and allied subjects, to meet the present and future needs of its users. Besides holding the best resources for the academic fraternity, LRC houses an extensive collection of books, national and international magazines and newspapers, and DVDs for the families of students, faculty and staff.
LRC holds a massive collection of printed as well electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, e-books, e-journals, reports, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. Currently the LRC has over 30,000 books, 360 print journals, access to 50 online databases including access to over 2000 e-journals.
The Reading Room is the perfect corner for those who want to catch up on the daily news with its wide range of popular newspapers and magazines which include Time, Business Week, The Week, The Economist, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune. The LRC has around 15 desktops in the Computer Lab that are deployed to make the LRC wi-fi enabled. The LRC has a huge collection of DVDs that can be viewed in the Media Room. This exclusive multimedia facility has a number of TVs, DVDs and VCD/VCR players for educational, as well as entertainment purposes.
