The Centre received its biggest endowment (Rs 35 Crore), courtesy Srini Raju who is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Peepul Capital (formerly, iLabs Capital). Peepul Capital manages over $400 million of institutional and general partner’s capital across two funds. It has initiated or funded and supported over 20 companies during the past decade. Some of these companies have grown into world class organisations, employing over 15000 employees. It specialises in transforming professional managers into entrepreneurs. He is also the founding member of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad and a member of the Governing Board of ISB.
Before Starting Peepul Capital, Raju was associated with Cognizant Technologies Services and Satyam Enterprise Solution as CEO and Satyam Computer Services as COO.
Raju has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with Honors, from REC (NIT), Kurukshetra and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University.
