Competition Details

The Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (CITNE) and the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) student run Business Technology Club (BTC) at the Indian School of Business invite you to submit your current unpublished original research, in the area of how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) impacts business and society, for a paper writing competition. This competition is being held in conjunction with the second International Symposium of Information Systems (ISIS) on December 21-23, 2007.

ISIS brings together leading academic researchers and industry thought leaders to confer and debate current unpublished work on how ICT impacts business and society. Building on the spectacular success of ISIS 2006, this year ISIS 2007 will open with a high powered industry day comprising a series of panel discussions. Each panel, made up of 3-4 CXO level industry captains and moderated by a leading academic will focus on issues of emerging importance. The subsequent two days will focus on current academic research. The programme format consists of a series of paper presentations followed by discussant comments. Extended breaks and compelling social activities between and after sessions add to the significant networking opportunities in a collegial setting.

This paper writing competition is directed at encouraging original research in how ICT impacts business and society. Authors of selected entries from the Indian student community will have the opportunity to present their work in front of leading Information Systems faculty from around the world as well as Indian industry leaders.
