Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund
Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF), based in Jaipur, is Rajasthan’s first venture capital fund, mandated to operate on pan India basis. The fund is focussed on small and medium sized companies in the field of IT/ITeS, Bio-technology, Retail, Auto, Agri-Tech, Health Care, Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainment sectors, etc.
Established in 2002-03, RVCF have an active investment portfolio of eight companies, principally in Rajasthan and National Capital Region i.e. Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon etc., one of the most vibrant areas for new technology and innovative enterprises.  About the Founder
Girish Gupta is the Founder Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF) since October, 2002. He has been involved in the fund right from its conception to the formulation, launch and the present stage. He has been instrumental in organising the first ever Venture Capital conference, an annual conference that is in its successful sixth year at Jaipur. Gupta has extensive work experience for over 20 years in Investment Banking especially in SME sector while serving in a prominent State Level Financial Institution. He was conferred State Merit Award by Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan in the year 2002 for his contribution to Electronics and IT industry in the state.
An Electrical Engineer from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (formerly REC), Jaipur – Gupta is an M.Tech holder (computer science) from BIT and is an MBA (Finance) from Poddar Institute of Management.
