Hyderabad Facilities

The ISB ensures that students are provided with the best facilities so that they can focus on learning alone. Following are some facilities of particular interest to students:

The lecture theatres are equipped with broadband communications network, ensuring global connectivity. ISB Students can interact by computer or video-link with faculty, industrial leaders and other students anywhere in the world. Audiovisual and video-conferencing facilities such as overhead projectors, LCDs, fixed cameras and touch-pad systems make the learning process interactive and enjoyable.

The learning resource centre (LRC), also known as the library, towers in the middle of the academic centre. It provides students with direct access to various printed and electronic information resources in the LRC.

The courtyard in the middle of the academic centre has an open-air atrium, which is the social hub of the campus. Shops and other facilities such as dining halls, a bank with ATM facilities, documentation centre, book store, mail room, coffee shop, travel desk, etc, are located here.

The student villages form the four cornerstone’s of the campus. Each Student Village can accommodate 130 to 210 students in a mix of four-bedroom and studio serviced apartments. The apartments are air-conditioned, fully furnished and equipped with cable connection, voice and data ports for telephone, campus LAN, and the Internet.

The state-of-the-art recreation centre has sports facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre, and courts for badminton, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball and basketball. The campus also has a billiards room and football field. There is also a play area for children and a toddler’s room.

It is an ISB tradition for each class to leave behind a souvenir, which adds to the charm of the School. The Class of 2008 Lounge (Gifted by the Class of 2008) and the Class of 2009 Amphitheatre (Gifted by the Class of 2009) are the favourite haunts of the students on campus.
