The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Ambassadors Programme builds upon the business capabilities created by Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women. It aims to identify and work with women business owners who have an established business model and are ready to scale their business to new heights. This programme will provide a growth-oriented value proposition by focusing on building organisational capabilities, leveraging finance for growth, harnessing the power of digital marketing through customer analytics and creating a powerful advisory board that will have a significant business impact.

Programme Structure

The programme structure is designed keeping in mind the needs and time limitations of the entrepreneurs. The programme will consist of two modules and will be completed within a quarter. Module 1 will be conducted over 4.5 days and Module 2 will be conducted over 2.5 days during which the participants are expected to attend classes from 9 am to 7 pm. The selected candidates will be informed 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the programme.

Programme Curriculum

The curriculum focuses on practical skills for scaling and growing businesses. It will cover topics such as growth strategies, business model innovation, operational leadership through leveraging technology, building the second line of leadership, pricing for new markets and financing options for growth.

Module 2 has been designed to ensure that the knowledge gained in Module 1 is being used for solving your organisational problems. The curriculum has been customised to address the practical problems of your business enterprise. This action learning project will be the major takeaway from this module.

Cohort-3 selections have been completed and the selected participants have been informed as well.
Cohort-4 Applicants have been shortlisted and final selection process is under-way. Applications are OPEN for Cohort-5, Cohort-6 and Cohort-7.
Exact dates for the Cohorts will be published once Covid-19 pandemic situation subsides.
These dates are tentative and subject to revision.

Eligibility Criteria

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Ambassadors Programme is designed for business owners who are passionate about growing their business, creating jobs in their communities and who meet these criteria:

Eligibility Criteria
  • Alumni of 10,000 Women (ISB / Coursera / IIM-B)
  • Owner or co-owner of the business with decision-making authority in the business
  • The business has operated for at least three years
  • The business employs at least 3 people
  • Indicative annual revenue of INR 35 lacs and above, with a preference for those who have shown growth from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women
  • Minimum 20% ownership of the business

  • All fields in the application form are compulsory
  • The application submission is online only
  • You will be allowed to navigate through the form however, it needs to be filled up in one go so please choose a suitable environment while filling up the form
  • You are required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents along with the application form:
    • Photo ID proof
    • Verification of ownership
    • Annual revenue statement attested by CA
    • ITR of the business for the last three years
  • Final selection to the programme will be made through an interview round
  • Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Ambassadors Programme is a fully funded programme. Participants' tuition fee, lodging and boarding (as necessary) will be covered however, the travel costs will have to be borne by the participants
