The Centre for Analytical Finance (CAF) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India, hosted the Winter Research Conference in Finance on December 21-22, 2005. The programme committee for the conference consisted of Bhagwan Chowdhry (UCLA), Sankar De (CAF, ISB), Ravi Jagannathan (Kellogg), Ravi Jain (ISB), Rangarajan Sundaram (NYU), Sanjay Kallapur (Purdue University and ISB) and Kiran Kumar (CAF, ISB).
We discussed three research papers in the morning and another two in late afternoon/evening on the first day of the conference. The early afternoon hours were left for the participants to form their own informal groups and work together.
