Richard Lyons

BS, Business (Finance concentration), University of California at Berkeley PhD, Economics (International and Macro), Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Lyons is the Sylvan Coleman Professor of Finance and Acting Dean, Haas School of Business. He has been with the Haas School of Business since 1993. Prior to that, he was a faculty member at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University during 1987-93. His visiting appointments include appointments with University of Toulouse, Toulouse, France, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden, London School of Economics, London, UK, Foundation for Advanced Information and Research (FAIR), Tokyo, Japan, and University of Aix-Marseille, Marseille, France. His current research interests include exchange rate economics, microstructure finance and international finance.
