Microfinance: The Way Ahead, August 6, 2005 
The Centre for Analytical Finance (CAF) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India, hosted a conference on August 6, 2005, on the future directions of microfinance in India and in the rest of the world. The conference consisted of the following three sessions, each devoted to an important microfinance issue.

An important highlight of the conference was a special address in Session III by Dr. Y. V. Reddy, Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on promotion and regulation of microfinance from the RBI's perspective.
