Pradeep Yadav
Pradeep Yadav is the W Ross Johnston Chair in Finance at Michael F Price College of Business, Pradeep YadavOklahoma University, USA. He was elected Vice President of the European Finance Association for 2003, and was elected President of the European Finance Association for 2004. He was the founding Director of the Scottish Institute for Research in Investment and Finance (SIRIF), a joint initiative of Universities with the mission of advancing the frontiers of the field in topical areas at the interface of academia and the finance industry. He has held full time Visiting Professorships at the Anderson School at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and at the Stern School at New York University.

The main research and consulting interests of Professor Yadav are in derivatives and market microstructure. He has won best research paper awards from INQUIRE (the UK Q-Group), the Chicago Board of Trade, and the New York Stock Exchange. He was also awarded the Year 2000 Robert J Schwartz Memorial Prize given by the Fisher Black Memorial Foundation and the International Association of Financial Engineers for "the most original research paper" in an area related to financial engineering.

Professor Yadav moved into academic finance in 1987 after ten years in senior public sector management positions. He has been Deputy Managing Director of an Industrial Development Bank, Managing Director and Chief Executive of a State owned corporation, and served on the Board of Directors of several private sector companies and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of a few joint sector companies.
