Tell us about your profile prior to attending ISB and recap your professional life after ISB, including your career progression.

Have been the promoter of Indi's largest apparel manufacturer and export company Gokaldas Exports (listed on the NSE & BSE). Had a majority stake sale to Blackstone in 2007 after which the Hinduja family exited the business. After taking a sabbatical I have now set up a pure play Decision Sciences and Analytics Company by the name Matrix & Vectors.

What was the main highlight or most memorable aspect of your programme at the ISB? How do you think your time at ISB has contributed to your career and personal growth?

The most remarkable thing about this program is its diversity. It touches upon all the various subjects in analytics including financial analytics & digital analytics.

What is the next new thing in the industry or vertical you are working in? Are there any trends that you can identify?

Right now the focus is on setting up the company and making sales pitches to clients.

If you could offer a word of advice to the current class at ISB, what would it be?

One needs to enhance their learning. So after the course, they should deep dive into subjects like Big data, IOT and should consider even attending the 1-year courses in the USA.
