A French Multinational, with presence in India wanted a programme on creating strategies to intensify business operations in India.
The key business challenges faced were:
- Severe competition from the unorganized sector in India
- Marketing and distribution challenges related to the Indian environment
- No specific strategy in place for working with the Government Sector in India
A customized programme was designed by ISB with the following objectives:
- Understand the Indian business and market environment
- Create strategies for market expansion
- Understand consumer buying behavior in India
The target audience were the senior management of the French Multinational company – Country Managers, Marketing Heads, CFO A unique pedagogy was developed for the course and the course was delivered by a mix of faculty and industry experts. Some highlights were:
- Case studies were used to evolve the concept and drive discussion
- Practical sessions at marketplace were conducted to provide a feel of actual business challenges faced in Indian distribution environment
- In company visits were organized to provide a feel of the Indian business environment
