Professor Charles Dhanaraj conducted a workshop, Making Case Teaching Work for You (September 22, 2010) on the art of managing case teaching, case writing, and academic research at ISB. 

PGP courses

Professor Anand Nandkumar offered two elective to PGP students (Class of 2011) at ISB. The course titled Strategic Challenges for Innovation-based Start ups was intended to provide prospective entrepreneurs with information and tools for managing strategic challenges involved in bootstrapping and managing start-ups. The elective on Strategic Innovation Management aimed at providing students with a solid foundation for managing innovation, especially in industries punctuated with rapid technological change.

Professor MB Sarkar offered an elective to PGP students (Class of 2011) at ISB – Management of Strategic Partnerships. The course is designed to focus on the analysis and design of strategic partnerships, as well as its management and implementation. The context of the course relates to innovation imperatives in high-technology industries characterised by hyper-competition.

Invited talks

MB Sarkar was invited by the Jeju Peace Forum to give a talk at their annual meeting in Jeju Island, S. Korea and by the Industrial Research Institute as a panelist at their annual conference in Philadelphia.

Prasad Vemuri was invited by Microsoft India Hyderabad to address and encourage the women employees for innovation in 2011.  He spoke on ‘Increasing the capability to innovate.’
