Governance SPL

The concept of shared governance has undergirded most of the decisions on key issues at SPL, such as the centre’s policies, research strategy, resource allocation and developing human capital. The steering committee was created to enable more transparent and efficient decision-making, given the growing size of SPL and the need for better coordination of management functions in research centres. The steering committee at SPL, consisting of key stakeholders from SBI and ISB, is congruent to the shared governance model, and it provides corporate oversight and efficiency. The composition of the committee is as follows:
