Teaching and Learning with Cases - The ISB Panel Discussion
A discussion on the emerging need for case based teaching and learning system in Indian B-schools.

The Centre for Case Development at the Indian School of Business(ISB) has organised a panel discussion ‘Teaching and Learning with Cases’, to be held during the Annual Management Education Convention 2010, conducted by the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS).

At the event, academia, industry, and business school alums will explore how a case teaching method adds value to traditional management pedagogy.

The academia will share their thoughts about challenges and upside of the case method. The industry will discover how by being a part of a teaching case, they can contribute towards the learning experience of a potential pool of future managers, the alum will share how he has successfully brought in the learning of case studies into the boardroom. 

Tthe panel will include the following -

  • Professor Rajesh Chakrabarti, Assistant Professor of Finance, ISB
  • Anil Gupta - Joint Managing Director, Havells India
  • Rishikesh Krishnan- Professor & Area Chair, Corporate Strategy and Policy Area, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore
