The Emerging Markets Club is focussed on the rapidly changing face of the global economy and the increasing importance of the emerging economies, led by BRIC economies, in global affairs. The Club in association with the Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions (CEMS) and Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) seeks to disseminate cutting-edge research, provide useful tools and build capabilities to help prepare future global leaders who can make a difference in emerging economies. With this focus, the Club aims to support ISB’s vision of being a pre-eminent global business school. ‘Emerging markets’ have been broadly defined as all countries of the world which are undergoing economic re-structuring and offer a wealth of business opportunities but involve challenging risks.
To identify market based solutions to solve the challenges that emerging economies face as a by-product of their fast growth, to enhance awareness and build relationships with key stakeholders to create a sustainable platform for career development.
