ISB is hosting the 12th edition of the Global Youth Peace Festival 2017 at our Mohali campus. the festival has attracted many youth activists from across the world. We are expecting around 150 young delegates from over 30 countries including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Gambia, Ghana, Fiji, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, India, Ireland, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippine, Russia, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tunisia, Uganda, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Over the past 11 years, the Global Youth Peace Festival has been pursuing the agenda of youth leadership and trans-formative change. It has also shown the way to build a global culture of volunteerism and service. The GYPF 2016 coincided with the clouds of war had gathered over India and Pakistan. Team GYPF managed to change the narrative by having young people from 33 countries including 19 young girls for peace from Pakistan espousing for peace.
