Ajit Andhare of the Founding
Class of the ISB's post-graduate programme has
been chosen the "Young Thought Leader for
the year 2001" in the CRISIL Young Thought
Leader Series - 2001 for his dissertation on "Privatisation:
Lessons for India from the international marketplace".
Ajit gets a cash award
of Rs 5000 from CRISIL for being selected among
the best ten entries for the series, which received
120 dissertations from institutes of repute all
over India.
The 'CRISIL Young Thought Leader' (CYTL) Series
is an initiative to encourage research and debate
on issues on national relevance. CYTL series invites
dissertations from students from leading business
and economic schools in India on topics ranging
from economy, infrastructure, and corporate strategy
to national policy, with particular emphasis on
points of inflection in the marketplace and the
emerging trends.
