The Centre for Analytical Finance (CAF) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India, will hold its annual flagship Summer Research Conference in Finance during August 5 - 8, 2010. The conference will begin with a reception for the participants on Thursday, August 5, evening, followed by paper presentations on August 6 - 8. Sheridan Titman (UT-Austin and CAF Academic Fellow 2010) will deliver a keynote address at the conference. The theme of the conference is "Recent Advances in Corporate Finance".
Funding There will be a USD 5,000 award generously funded by Citigroup Foundation for the best paper presented at the conference. Additionally, if a paper is accepted in the programme, we provide limited travel support for the presenter to attend the conference. We hope that the other participants will be able to pay for their transportation to and from Hyderabad from their own research and travel budget. For participants at a US school with CIBER, there may be CIBER funds available for travel. For all participants, we will take care of all local hospitalities.

We organise two research conferences each year: one in the spring (jointly with China Center for Financial Research in Beijing, Financial Institutions Center at Wharton School, and Swedish Institute for Financial Research) and the other in the summer. While the first conference rotates between Beijing, Hyderabad, Philadelphia, and Stockholm, the summer conference is held on the ISB campus in Hyderabad. Finance scholars from around the world participate in our research conferences.
