Disorientation Week - Celebrating the Final
Countdown
Disorientation
Week is simply an unwind, rewind week for ISBians, before
Grad Day and before it is time to bid adieu to life on
campus, which each of them grew so familiar with for the
past one year. Final assignments done, terms tucked in
neatly, students now wait for the Disorientation Week, which
helps them bond, for maybe the last time. So each wants to
bid farewells and make new beginnings with fellow mates and
also with their alma mater.
Says Prabkirat Sanghera, President,
Graduate
Students Board, “After the gruelling one year at the ISB,
the disorientation week helps students de-stress, before
they move back into the corporate world. It is also an
essential time for students to rejuvenate and cement bonds
that have been built over the year with the ISB community.”
The week saw students arrange for a thank you tea and snack
session with Sarovar staff. Students in a role reversal
served the staff of Sarovar, who for the whole year had
patiently served and waited on them.
Further
the Graduate Student Body organised a get together at the
Pragati Resorts where students and family decided to let
down their hair before they headed their separate ways. A
fun filled evening dinner dance by the pool was the perfect
milieu.
A week long celebration gets them all ready to take centre
stage on Graduation Day and walk away with enviable honours.
