Kid's Day Out

For the whole year long, they were the natural stress busters on campus. They filled the campus air with their simple joys and enviable enthusiasm for life. They are the 30 odd kids on campus this year, who were not only a source of joy to their parents, who toiled the year, but these children also added to the family oriented face that ISB always strives to maintain. Be it during festivals like Holi or Christmas or during fun events like picnics and Dandiya, every function at the ISB was complete only because of these little ones, who enamoured everyone with their prattle and laughter.

To acknowledge their invaluable contribution to life at ISB, an evening celebration, honouring ISB Juniors, was hosted on campus on April 05, 2007.

The little ones dressed in their best and blissful of the surroundings, enjoyed the fun filled evening to the hilt. A power point presentation, creatively done up by the spouses, introduced every kid on campus, seven of whom were born during this one year of their parents stay at the ISB. Assistant Dean - PGP, Savita Mahajan, handed over token mementos to each of the small guests. “These children have kept the campus vibrant and thriving and are a priceless contribution to the community life present at the ISB,” she said. Also present at the function were Dean MR Rao and Deputy Dean Ajit Rangnekar.

Juhi, Tanmay, Palash, Aditi, Aditya - frolicked around the recreation grounds making the evening memorable for all. A guitar recital by one of the children, impromptu poetry recitation and a magic show enthralled the audience. This is the third year that such a function has been organised just before Graduation Day.

Such an event helps fill up family albums and add to memories, as the current batch go separate ways.
