Student Experience

I have never had such a wonderful experience in my life. The people over here are friendly, casual and smart. The accommodation and infrastructure is top of the class. The school while pushing students hard for studies makes sure that they have access to recreation facilities to relax. The structure of the program is fast paced. Sometimes it feels like you are not in college but on a full time job. I enjoyed the experience a lot and I would recommend ISB as one of the better choices for exchange at my university.

Akash Soomro , Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan (2010-2011)

I was impressed by the classmate's proactive spirit and willingness to embrace differences, how to work as a group with Indians. Academically, I felt very excited to have the opportunity to work, compete, and learn from all the outstanding talents of India.

Eung Je LEE, China Europe International Business School, China (2010 – 2011)

Overall, I loved being here and felt very welcomed!

Diana Sophie Lange, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands (2010-2011)

Best points were interaction with other ISB and exchange students which certainly helped to broaden my global perspective.

Enoch Kahiga Kariuki, Tuck School of Business, USA (2010-2011)

The campus is gorgeous, the facilities are great, and the weather is superb, but by far the best part  of ISB is the students. As a group they are very sharp and driven to really understand the material, but more importantly they are also warm and welcoming and any visitor is quickly part of their tight-knit community. The amount of learning between students is incredible, and my experience at the ISB has given me a window into the vitality and energy of the people who are going to be driving one of the great economic growth stories of the 21st century.

Craig Geoffrey, Rotman School of Management, (2006-'07)

I should say that the ISB is a great school with excellent faculty, dedicated staff and talented students. I am sure that the ISB has the strong potential to reach its goal in the near future. I really enjoyed my stay here and I quite cherished what I have learnt from professors and classmates.

Kitty Xie, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, (2006-'07)

The ISB provides the perfect entry way into India and its vast culture and business opportunities. Here you’re interacting with the best-of- the-best that India has to offer from thought-provoking professors, to world-class facilities which exceed the standards of any business school campus in the West, and most importantly an array of interesting and high caliber fellow students. My experiences and friendships made at the ISB will stay with me for a lifetime and it’s not a question of “if” I will return to India, but “when”.

Victor Kucek, Kellogg School of Management, (2006-'07)

If I had the option to extend my stay, I would not have hesitated one bit. ISB has been my home away from home

Rai Usman Mujahid, Lahore University of Management Sciences,(2006-'07)
"ISB has the reputation for having incredible facilities and it lives up to it totally. Things I’d like to take back from India are the incredible experiences of India, just being here is an education in itself. The important part of going to a B-school is actually to build a network. Having seen the BPOs and call centers here you know that India is going to play an important role in world business in future, knowing these people now is going to be critical for business success in future, because the Indian economy is growing really fast."

Alison Twiss, Darden Graduate School of Business, (2005-'06)
"The most important thing is to get an understanding of how MBAs think and work in India because obviously India is going to be an economic powerhouse in the next 50 yrs and it is going to be really important for the Americans and Europeans and basically every body to know to interact with Indian culture and work life style."

Julia Hornack, Darden Graduate School of Business, (2005-'06)
"Compared to Korean MBA schools, the ISB campus, their infrastructure is almost perfect, the classrooms and accommodation, the audio video infrastructure is state-of-the-art technology. I am very comfortable living here in India on the ISB campus. Whoever comes to the ISB campus, I think nobody can complain here".

Woong Moon, KAIST Graduate School of Business, (2005-'06)
"From the commercial point of view, cultural point of view and people point of view, ISB has been an amazing experience."

Aleem Dhanani, London Business School, (2005-'06)
"ISB has undoubtedly the best facilities for any B-school in the world. Where else can you get daily individualized attention like room service, onsite travel booking, and library research on request.? The faculty at the ISB not only matches the best in the world, but arguably goes beyond what students at even the top B-Schools in the US may hope to get in a class. Since they are from the top B-Schools including Kellogg, Wharton, LBS, Harvard, among others… what the ISB offers is outstanding.”

Ian Vacin, Kellogg School of Management (2003-'04)

“The class interaction among the students and teachers is very rich. The diverse work experience of the students really adds to the interactions. Many of the students have worked abroad and they bring back morals and ideas from all over the world. The faculty who come from many different parts of the world also bring their experience in to our discussions."

Visegan Subrayen, Cape Town Graduate School of Business, (2005-'06)

ISB is probably the most resourceful place in India. Every morning at the dining hall, we meet with professors who have deep understanding of both global and Indian economy. During the classes, students from different background and industries have enlightened us with more dynamic answers as well.

At night, our time was occupied by different executive talks from the industry. We were overwhelmed by the wide range of industries the speeches cover since we came to ISB. We believe there will be no better time to come to India than now. The weather was lovely with sunshine and sometimes rain bringing fresh cool air. Festivals such as Dandiya and Diwali came one after another and feasted us on not only authentic Indian food but also traditional dancing and beautiful sarees. It is only the beginning of the journey to the west……"
