ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition pushes the researchers to stretch their limits and come up with cases that meet high benchmarks.  It provides the much needed inputs, guidance and encouragement to researchers. It's a great platform for showcasing very relevant dilemmas emerging in Indian business environment. Ripsy Bondia, PhD. Scholar - Management Development Institute, Gurgaon

There is a dearth of authentic, intriguing, probing, multinational and multicultural business cases.  Therefore, when the announcement of the IBS-Ivey 2015 Case Competition arrived in my email, the timing was perfect to submit a truly global case. Addressing a dilemma of an Indian woman who wanted a management position in Qatar, it was written and conceived by one of our graduate students and I had taught it, with excellent learning outcomes, to an entirely multicultural, multinational, multiethnic class in Australia.  Thank you to ISB and Ivey for giving “Competence, Competitiveness and Intercultural Conflict in Qatar” prize-winning recognition so that others can debate and discuss the complexities of globalization. I began my case writing journey as a mere assignment during my master’s program in Northeastern University, Boston. I am happy that I could develop my ideas further by the webinars, experiential activities and other tools of the ISB – Ivey Global Case Competition 2015 to refine my analytical, problem solving and case writing skills. The contest is a great initiative to encourage students and faculty members to adopt a consultative approach to foster professional skills required to succeed at the work place.  As an author of a winning entry, “Competence, Competitiveness and Intercultural Conflict in Qatar” I am honored to publish my first case with Ivey Publishing. ISB Ivey Competition provides a unique platform for the development of cases and case writers. One of the best features of the competition is the constructive and extensive feedback given by the experts which helps in enhancing the quality and value of the case. Our compliments extend to the entire team of ISB-Ivey for the efficiency displayed during the entire process involved in the competition. We look forward to the next edition of ISB Ivey Competition. - Rajesh Panda, Associate Professor; Madhvi Sethi, Associate Professor; Pooja Gupta, Assistant Professor - Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru
