Artist-in-Residence Laila Khan Rajpal

The ‘Artist-in-Residence” programme this year hosted the celebrated Laila Khan Rajpal. The ISB’s unique Business and Art programme brings renowned artists on campus with the aim to inculcate the unique elements of creativity and innovation amongst the environment of business learning.

In accordance with the requirement for the programme, Laila Khan’s stay was punctuated with active student interaction while she painted. She freely shared her perspectives on art, women, and other topics of mutual interest to her and the students who stopped by.

At the end of her memorable stay on campus, Laila unveiled her work of art, specially made for the ISBians. As is typical of her style, the work was untitled by choice, and carried her signature style of earth tones contrasted by symbolism, in this case, inspired by the Peacock Crossing – a landmark at the eco-friendly ISB campus.
