Twenty four countries were represented at this conference. Academics from countries like Germany, USA, UK, South Korea Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Iran, Portugal, the Netherlands etc made significant contribution and stimulated interest through their deliberations.
Thought leaders and HR heads from the industry brainstormed on the various managerial aspects of evaluating performance and skills. A need to integrate islands of data and information more holistically, to define key success drivers and then communicate the measures and strategies down the organisation, to shift value of a company from tangible to intangible assets (human capital, organisational capital and information capital), and lastly to review and distribute talent and identify stars - were some of the industry tips offered. Professor Rajiv Banker, Fox School of Business, Temple University, who moderated the discussion, concluded that such a conference was “critical to business practices in India and throughout global markets.”
