Spouses and Families Association
Families are an integral part of the Indian School of Business (ISB) community and we take special care to make family life comfortable and fun. Most married students usually opt to live in single-bedroom furnished apartments, which include a fully-equipped kitchen.
Among the family-friendly facilities on campus include a day-care centre, children’s play area, grocery store, coffee shop and an infirmary. Family members can use the on-campus recreational facilities such as the swimming pool, gym and game courts.
Spouses and partners of students are invited to most campus events and the library even has a special children's section. Families are encouraged to participate in all aspects of life at the ISB, thus creating a sense of belonging and identity. There are also opportunities for networking and professional growth on campus for families.
The Spouses and Families Association (SFA) provides social opportunities for spouses and families of ISB students. From exploring job opportunities for spouses to organising social, cultural and outreach initiatives, SFA has a wide range of activities. Events on festivals and holidays are also largely organised by the SFA on a community level, thus creating a sense of family for all students.
Day Care Centre on Campus The ISB has engaged Sunshine Play Schools to set up a day-care centre on campus for the benefit of the community. This initiative was taken keeping in mind working spouses, staff and faculty at the ISB. The centre is located in the Faculty Housing Area of the School.and is easily accessible for parents. To ensure the best development, Sunshine offers:
