ICICI Research Centre
ICICI Research Centre is a non-profit research centre,
dedicated to promoting research in finance and economics
in emerging market economies.
The Centre's goal is to provide a platform to create
active interaction between academia, policy makers
and financial practitioners in the focus area of emerging
market finance. In pursuit of this, the centre carries
out research, sponsors research projects, publishes
a journal and newsletters and conducts seminars. Recently
the CAFS at the Institute for Financial Management
& Research (IFMR) has taken over the management
of the Centre.
UCLA-Center for International Business Education
and Research (CIBER)
UCLA's Center for International Business Education
and Research (CIBER) was founded in 1989 under the
provisions of the United States Omnibus Trade and
Competitiveness Act of 1988. It is located at the
Anderson School at UCLA and is affiliated with the
International Studies and Overseas Program (ISOP)
office also at UCLA.
UCLA CIBER aims to bring interdisciplinary studies,
such as languages and area studies, to business students;
and business perspectives to students and professionals
in language and area studies. It offers language and
cultural studies programs to the business community
through night and summer programs; collaborates with
other institutions to promote the study of international
business; and conducts research designed to strengthen
international curriculum development and to promote
the competitiveness of U.S. firms in international
business.
