UCLA-Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER)

UCLA's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) was founded in 1989 under the provisions of the United States Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988. It is located at the Anderson School at UCLA and is affiliated with the International Studies and Overseas Program (ISOP) office also at UCLA.

UCLA CIBER aims to bring interdisciplinary studies, such as languages and area studies, to business students; and business perspectives to students and professionals in language and area studies. It offers language and cultural studies programs to the business community through night and summer programs; collaborates with other institutions to promote the study of international business; and conducts research designed to strengthen international curriculum development and to promote the competitiveness of U.S. firms in international business.
