Ed-tech startup CollegeDekho, by ISB alumnus Ruchir Arora, has received $2 million (around Rs 13.2 crore) – its third round of funding – from London-based Man Capital LLP, Girnar Software and other investors. ISB alumnus Srishti Bakshi has reached Punjab in her mission to create awareness of the security and social status of women in the country. Srishti is undertaking a 3,800-km journey on foot, over 260 days, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, to mobilise communities to make India a safer country for girls and women by empowering them with digital and financial security. ISB alumnus Srishti Bakshi talks about her on-foot journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Srishti who visited ISB, Mohali campus will now walk further towards Ludhiana and Jalandhar. Sharing her thoughts, she says, “We actually spend a lot of time in rural areas of the country and very little in the cities because our aim is to motivate women and girls with financial and digital literacy”.
