Dialogue with Padmanabhan Balasubramanian : Over the years, big data and machine learning techniques have become important tools for business professionals. Fintech leverages these technologies in a very fundamental way to impact lives. Students of the next generation will have much deeper understanding of analytics and its applicability to financial services and related aspects. ISB aspires to have such forward looking curricula and research is the foundation for developing such content.
ISB’s Financial Times Ranking 2017: Financial Times (FT) has recently declared that ISB is India’s best business School leaving behind two other premier management schools in the country. ISB has been ranked 27 among the top 100 in the FT MBA 2017 global rankings. We continue to rank high in alumni recommendations and are among the top schools globally in terms of percentage salary increase – in fact, we are ranked at the top on this dimension amongst the top 30 schools.
ISB Portraits : It is now 15 years since ISB's founding and, in that time, the strength of its alumni body has grown to more than 7,500. To celebrate this journey, the Alumni Relations department sought a memorable way to highlight the School’s collective achievement and capture the essence of its impact on individuals and society. Ultimately, we felt that there was no better way to achieve this than by telling the stories of its most valued custodians — its alumni — and, in doing so, distill the elements of their success: their drive, versatility, leadership and imagination. The result is ISB Portraits, a sampling of 73 movers and shakers among our alumni, who are making their mark in the world today as business leaders, creative entrepreneurs, artists, and even sportspersons.
